The article is devoted to the actual problem of psychological and pedagogical support for children with cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy is a serious disease of the central nervous system that occurs as a result of hypoplasia or brain damage in early ontogenesis. Children with cerebral palsy have peculiar features of cognitive, emotional and personal development. They have easily formed dependent institutions, the inability to independent practical activity. The difficulties of social adaptation contribute to the development of such personality traits as anxiety, shyness, inability to defend their interests, combined with stubbornness, aggressiveness, and various forms of protection. Children with cerebrovascular disease, who are forced to spend a long time with their mother during treatment, have a high risk of forming a hospital syndrome, which has a inhibitory effect on their mental and speech development. One of the most common causes of hospitalization is the prolonged separation from the mother or the loss of trusting relationships with relatives. Children with cerebral palsy with hospitalizational syndrome often lag behind speech and cognitive development. An important type of work with these children is the psychological and pedagogical support, defined as the activity of a psychologist and a teacher, aimed at creating a comprehensive system of conditions for the successful rehabilitation, personal growth of such children, taking into account the peculiarities of their development in society. We analyzed the diagnostic, prophylactic, correction-recovery directions of psychological and pedagogical support for children with cerebral palsy with a syndrome of hospitalization. An effective solution to the problem of hospitalization is the productive collaboration of parents with the specialists of the multidisciplinary team, which together create the conditions for an integrated approach to preventing and overcoming the hospital's syndrome in children with cerebral palsy.
