The article is devoted to the topical problem of partnership in pedagogical activity. The works of scientists, which identify various aspects of the problem of implementing the pedagogy of partnership, have been analysed and summarizes in the article. The principles on which the pedagogy of partnership is based have been highlighted. The results of the questionnaire of teachers have been analysed in order to study the current state of partnerships between the subjects of the educational process. The following issues have been studied: teachers’ understanding of the essence of the concepts “partnership” “partnership interaction”, “partnership pedagogy”; implementation of pedagogy of partnership with special school pupils and their parents; difficulties in partnership with pupils and parents; the state of partnership with colleagues and out-of-school organizations and the difficulties that arise in the process of this interaction; suggestions of teachers to improve partnerships in special education institutions. The peculiarities of partnership interaction have been determined, in particular, the difficulties of partnership relations with pupils are caused mainly bypsychophysical features of children with intellectual disabilities; most problems arise in partnership with parents of pupils of special schools; there is a need to form partnerships with out-of-school institutions and organizations.
