Golub N.M. - Interaction of speech therapist with parents of children in the implementation of the tasks of prevention and correction in children difficulties of formation and disorders of written speech

The article is devoted to the problem of organizing and working with parents of children who have speech disorders and difficulties in learning the educational program. The article highlights the role of biological and social factors in the occurrence of difficulties in forming and disorders of written speech. If a child has speech disorders, speech therapists should involve parents in participation in correctional and developmental work. Already in the preschool educational chain it is necessary to prevent difficulties in the formation and disorders of written speech in children with high risk of their occurrence in primary school (this group includes children with general speech underdevelopment (GSU), mental retardation (MR), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)). Parents should be aware of the importance of work and help to implement such directions in the preparation of a child for school: correction of oral speech disorders; development of all sides of the speech system; development of attention, perception, memory, mental functions, imagination; formation of positive motivation of educational activity and its prerequisites (the ability to perceive, remember, follow instructions, plan work, do it focused, to the end, to focus on the system of rules, to act on the model, to carry out elementary verification actions); formation of language abilities, assimilation at the practical level of linguistic categories, mastering special educational actions with different language units. In elementary school, the speech therapist should explain to parents the reasons and manifestations of difficulties in the formation or disorders of written speech in children, to reveal the content, forms, methods and techniques of correctional and developmental work. It is advisable to involve parents in the work, which is aimed at eliminating children's specific errors in the process of reading and writing, and on correcting and forming those functions, the lack of which causes these errors.
